About Deposits

We hold a security deposit while you have custody of our equipment. It is typically 25% of the value of the equipment, although that can be changed by moving to a higher tier.

This is a holding deposit, which means that it will be returned in full if the equipment is returned and everything is satisfactory.  

Payment for any missing or damaged equipment will be deducted from your deposit in the first instance. Please note any damages beyond the cost of the deposit still have to be paid in full.

Paying the Deposit

You can pay your deposit via bank transfer or card payment. If paying with a card, the deposit is taken as an ‘authorisation hold’ rather than actual payment. This means that if done on a credit card, no money will leave your account.

Returning the Deposit

Once the equipment is returned and we have checked it, we will return your deposit.

If any equipment is missing, we will let you know. If it is not returned to us, we will deduct the cost from the deposit before returning. 

If the equipment is damaged, we will inform you, and give an estimate of the repair or replacement cost.
